CHALLENGEDAYTONA Announces Director of Swim Operations and Safety

On December 13th-15th 2019, CHALLENGEDAYTONA presents its epic CHALLENGEDAYTONA Festival at iconic Daytona International Speedway®. Now in its 2nd year, the family-friendly international multi-sport festival has proudly announced Fetch Watersports and Safety, LLC. as Director of Swim Operations and Safety at CHALLENGEDAYTONA Festival.

AJ Miller, Founder of Fetch Watersports and Safety, LLC. shares his excitement to return as Director of Swim Operations for the 2nd annual CHALLENGEDAYTONA Festival. “As Water Safety Director of the 2018 UANA Pan American Open Water Championships, with over 20-years of swimming competition and life-safety, both regionally and nationally, I understand the dynamics of open-water competition and life safety.  Our focus is total athlete safety,” says Miller

Athletes participating in triathlon and aquathon at CHALLENGEDAYTONA Festival swim in the pristine waters of Lake Lloyd within sight of the iconic Daytona International Speedway. Miller says, “having the swim in Lake Lloyd provides spectators an opportunity to get up close to the action as athletes swim past the walkway along the final backstretch of the swim course. It’s quite thrilling to watch athletes compete in this unique venue.”
