CHALLENGEDAYTONA Announces Toyota as Title Sponsor

On December 13th-15th, 2019, CHALLENGEDAYTONA presents the 2nd annual CHALLENGEDAYTONA Festival, voted “Best New Race” 2018 by Triathlete Magazine at iconic Daytona International Speedway®. The family-friendly international multi-sport festival is attracting thousands of athletes from across the globe to participate in the weekend festival of events.

CHALLENGEFAMILY CEO Zibi Szlufcik says, “Our goal is to partner with brands who share in our mission to deliver the most satisfying experience for our athletes and Toyota certainly shares this value. We are proud to have Toyota as part of the CHALLENGEDAYTONA Festival. “

Daytona International Speedway President Chip Wile adds, “Toyota has been an incredible partner to Daytona International Speedway for over a decade.  From their commitment as one of our five Founding Partner to partnering the Challenge Daytona triathlon, we are so fortunate to have their support.  We couldn’t host world class events without the steadfast devotion of brands like Toyota and we look forward together to seeing athletes from all over the globe compete at the “World Center of Racing” next month.”

“We’ve seen what Toyota’s race cars can do at Daytona International Speedway and now it’s time to showcase our Toyota vehicles as they support athletes while they swim, bike and run during CHALLENGEDAYTONA  at the ‘World Center of Racing®’,” said Ed Laukes, group vice president, Toyota Marketing, Toyota Motor North America. “Our long history with the storied racetrack coupled with being a partner of USA Triathlon makes for a unique opportunity to help grow the triathlon community by supporting athletes as they compete and providing the best fan experience around.”
